Up close

The X30 is an industrial quadruped from DEEP Robotics for autonomous inspection, security, emergency response, mapping and surveying. It is IP67 sealed, works from about −20 °C to 55 °C, carries 20 kg or more, runs at 4 m/s or faster and climbs 45° stairs and slopes. Fusion perception lets it navigate in darkness, glare and flicker, and quick-swap batteries give 2.5–4 hours and at least 10 km per charge.

Key features

IP67 sealed

Works through dust, rain and wet industrial sites.

Hot and cold

Rated for roughly −20 °C to 55 °C.

Up to four hours

2.5–4 hours and at least 10 km per charge.

45° stairs and slopes

Handles steep ramps and industrial stairs, including open-riser steps.

Sees in the dark

Fusion perception navigates in darkness, strong light and flicker.

Quick-swap batteries

Change batteries in the field to keep missions going.

Is it right for you?

Good fit if

  • An IP67 robot dog for industrial inspection or emergency response
  • Hot, cold, wet or dusty sites (about −20 °C to 55 °C)
  • Autonomous routes across stairs, slopes and dark facilities
  • Enterprise projects with payload integration, training and support

Not ideal if

  • A low-cost robot dog for education or entertainment
  • An off-the-shelf product with no site integration or support

Questions

How long does the X30 run?

About 2.5 to 4 hours and at least 10 km per charge, depending on payload, speed and terrain. Batteries swap quickly in the field.

Can it work in rain, dust, heat and cold?

Yes. It's IP67 rated and specified for roughly −20 °C to 55 °C. Check the rating of any extra payloads you mount.

Can it climb industrial stairs?

Yes, stairs and slopes up to 45°, including open-riser steel stairs common in plants.

Does it work in the dark?

Its fusion perception is designed to navigate in darkness, strong light and flickering light, where camera-only robots struggle.

Is it suitable for inspection and rescue?

Those are its main jobs. Inspection and rescue payloads, communications and operator training are set up per project.
